Abstract
1. For many years physical educator, sports coaches, Trainner have maintained that Individual who regularly participated In weight training would become muscle-bound and therefore, slower in his movement on the contrary, one believes that the weight trainning is well-respectable form of physical trainning. such duelistic conception has been allegate long among the Society of physical education, sports. Unfortunately neither one has produced any documented evidence for their contention. The need, however, is felt and expressed by those associated with sports and physical education. For this reason, this invastigation has been under taken.
II. Subject; 90 men, whose ages ranged 20∼25yr, college student were used. They were divided in to 3 groups; one groups consisted of 20 men, who had pantici pated in weight Trainning for at least 3 years.
Other one group was composed of 35 men, whom the student of physical education and they were engaged in various sports for at least 2 years. And, of one other group was consisted of 35 men, who were the student of liberal Art, and they have little bit any experience on physical trainning, specifically on the weight Trainning.
III. Method
(1) A specially constmucted Apparatus recording speed of rotary movements of the arm were used.
It Automatically registered to 0.001/sec(T.K.K.made Digital-timer) the time of 20 complete rotary movement of the arm. Each subject has two trials with a 5 minutes rest between the tests.
The lower Time of the two recordings was as representative of the subject’s speed.
(2) The T.K.K. made tapping numbering machine was used for testing (pushing Rod of T.N.M) When the subject attained the T.N.M. pushing Rodposition, when the verval signal for start, subject proceeded to push The Rod as fast as he ran until verval signal for halt by the tester 10 seconds were given for testing T.N.M. Each subjects had two trials 5 minutes rest between the tests.
The Higher namber of the two recording was as representative of the Subjects speed.
IV. Result and Conclusions
1. In Speed of rotary motion of arm
The weight-Traines was 0.585/sec, faster than the physical education student, and alto weight trainer was 1.382/sec, faster than the student of Liberal Art.
2. In T.N.M. Tapping speed
The P.E student was fastest for average M=68.1, The weight Trainees were the second that of speed for average M=66.3, The student of Liberal art was slowest and tea tof speed for average M=61.8.
3. As for all on the basis of the obtained data it is evident that;
1) The weight Trainees was faster in muscle contraction speed than the student of physical education and student of Liber Art.
2) The physical education major student was fast in impulse facilitation of neuron than the student of Liberal Art and the weight trainees
In Conclusion
It can be summerized that the weight trainni-ng effects on shortening speed of mascular contraction, on the contrary, impulse facilitation of neuronmascular around hand and wrist are slower than P.E. major.
